RESIDENZAITALIA is a unique program that provides the permanence of artists and curators in different working places on the Italian territory. The idea comes from an analysis of contemporary Italian art system, fragmented into different poles of production. A stay in two or more cities enables artists to join a free and original in each residence and tight various partnerships.

For each artist and curator will be organized informal meetings, public roundtables and opportunities for exchange.

RESIDENZAITALIA works to:

• Promote the exchange of information and experience between editors and coordinators of the residences - stimulating debate on programs and organization;
• Support coordinators dealing with funding institutions;
• Contribute to research funds and assistance to artists and curators in residence - promote reciprocity of international trade.
